About Me

Welcome to Petal Path Counseling!

I’m Dr. Samantha (Sam) Minski, a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts. I provide telehealth services to adults anywhere within the state. I believe every woman’s journey is distinct and deserving of attention. My psychology practice is designed to provide compassionate and specialized support tailored to your needs.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). I completed additional training during my two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in primary care and medical education. I’ve worked in primary care, outpatient mental health, and medical specialty clinics throughout my career.

More recently, I received my certification in Perinatal Mental Health after completing the Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom Maternal Mental Health Certificate training as well as their Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy course. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Assumption University where I teach Clinical Health Psychology.

My Approach to Therapy

I recognize that seeking therapy is a courageous step towards personal growth and empowerment. My therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly express yourself, gain insights, and develop the tools needed to navigate life's challenges. I emphasize cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness based strategies to support you through this process.

My Commitment to You

I am committed to honoring your individuality and fostering your strengths. My goal is to empower you to lead a more fulfilling and authentic life. Whether you're facing transitions, experiencing challenges during the postpartum period, or striving for personal growth, I am here to provide guidance, support, and a listening ear.
